Verizon Wireless LG Cosmos in Black affordable

The messaging phone offerings from LG for Verizon Wireless continue to grow of course we’ve had the LG enV and the LG Voyager series and go back to the CTIA 2010 where Verizon welcomed the latest LG Cosmos.

It is pretty much a revamped version of the LG Rumor2 and is said to be a level entry product, sadly it doesn’t have a music player or EV-DO but it does have basic messaging features.

It also comes with a 3 megapixel camera, and fast access to social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter. It’s a solid but simple slider with a tactile number keypad and a QWERTY keyboard.

It is available right now for an affordable $29.99 with a two year contract and a $50 mail in rebate. It really does look like a re invented LG Rumor 2 as they both appear to be candy bar handsets on the front but then there is the full QWERTY keyboard which slides out to the right for your messaging. It weighs in at 4.4 ounces which is sturdy but light.
