HTC Desire at Play just £399 SIM free

As you are probably already aware the high end HTC Desire Android 2.1 devices is available for purchase in the UK via wireless carriers although it would seem that some users ay benefit soon from new offerings for the device.

We reported previously that the HTC Desire was out of stock with T Mobile and also with Vodafone with the possible shipments of new units arriving, since our previous post we have had confirmation that the device is no longer out of stock with the carriers.

Online retailer Play.com has the device listed for pre order for just £399.99 and that’s SIM free with an expected release date of April 16th. One thing that has made the HTC Desire more desirable has to be the price falling below £400.

What you get for your cash is a handset which runs under Google’s Android 2.1 operating system with the added benefit if the HTC Sense solution thrown over the top, both of which are delivered ion a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen.

If the price of £399.99 for a SIM free device is still too much then check out other deals on the handset such as what’s available from T Mobile UK where you can get it for just £35 per month with a two year contract.
