Apple iPhone, RIM Blackberry = good results as demand for Smartphones soars

Good news as according to a report over at thisislondon.co.uk in relation to research carried out by Parks Associates the demand for Smartphones just keeps on increasing.

Demand for phones such as Apple’s iPhone and Research In Motions BlackBerry has continued to soar which mean the companies will report accelerating market growth in this months first quarter earning season.

Amazingly there were more than 180 million Smartphones sold during last year with both Apple and Nokia sharing 60% of the market. According to figures from Park Associates.

At the number one mobile manufacturer Nokia, analysts expect to see a greater market share when it posts its first quarter update next week mainly due to the growing demand for cheaper Smartphones. Apple are expected to sell in the region of .7.5 million iPhones in the quarter which is down from the end of last year although doubling from this time last year.
