Nokia C6 runs Symbian ^1 – available this quarter

Nokia have introduced the C6 which is a middle range touchscreen Smartphone, it comes with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and has a comprehensive social messaging software suite.

The Nokia C6 runs Symbian^1 but has with it a pervasive kinetic scrolling and also widget home screen similar to the Nokia N97. It features a 5 megapixel camera and also has integrated GPS and great connectivity options.

You can expect a full range of Ovi services which includes Ovi Maps, Ovi Store, Ovi Music and Nokia Messaging. We can expect to see the device later on this quarter at a price of EUR 220 before taxes and subsides.

The software is in line with the Nokia N97 and N97 Mini, it also features the same WRT widget based home screen, Kinetic scrolling and a full range of Ovi services. The design of the C6 is similar to the Nokia 5800 both in size and its shape, although the C6 has a horizontal slider form factor which includes a full QWERTY keyboard and D pad.
