Verizon vs. AT&T AD Wars: Big Blues new campaign

AT&T have dumped their ad campaign in a response to their rival Verizon’s slams on it wireless phone coverage. AT&T has a new sales pitch which is Rethink Possible.

The new sales pitch touts grand visions for un tethered Internet access and will avoid tearing down it’s top competitor, this move could lead to a truce between the two companies which experts have said has had no clear winner.

The new campaign debuted last weekend during the Masters Golf tournament and explains to people that AT&T can help consumers to be able to talk simultaneously on their phones and surf the internet, moving from room to room to watch recorded television.

The company have claimed that the shift in their strategy will position the company as being more than just a Wireless carrier. They want to be thought of as the company that delivers various ways to improve peoples lives not just with phones.

The ads have a mix of fantasy, childlike pictures prancing through a city and with the voice over’s encouraging people to Explore, and try and do. It is also expected that later on this week Verizon intend to debut a new campaign which will be targeted to their business customers.
