There is a new software update which is available fort those owners out there of a Nokia N86 8MP which is the firmware version 30.009 according to a recent report over at news.softpedia.com

You can download the new update from the Nokia Software Update and install. This download weighs in at around 142MB it is expected that this will be available over the air soon also in most regions.

The new software solution is said to include some very welcome enhancements although it has been reported that not all is working quite like it should be. The firmware version 30.009 is being pushed to Nokia N86 8MP as a maintenance update and some of the main features that it is said to come with are the latest Ovi Maps 3.3 with free navigation.

Also included is the sharing of location via Facebook, Nokia Messaging improvements. Although the Nokia N86 8MP sports UDP User Data Preservation it is still recommended that you back up all data on your handset before launching the update process.
