Verizon HTC Incredible: Will you pre-order or wait for iPhone or Nexus One?

As we have reported recently here the Verizon HTC Incredible will be available to pre order from the 19th April i.e. Monday. The HTC Incredible ticks a lot of boxes, as the device comes with a 1GHz snapdragon processor, and 8 megapixel camera with a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touch display, not to mention running on Android 2.1 what more could you want?

You could want the iPhone, which is said to have an improved camera, an OLED screen and touch sensitive arriving on the back of the case said to be similar to the Apple Magic Mouse. This is expected to be released at some stage during the summer. The usual period for new iPhone announcements is usually June or July. So will you skip the HTC Incredible and wait a few more months in anticipation for the iPhone 4G?

Or we have the Nexus One which is rumoured heavily to be on its way soon. The Verizon Nexus One has 512MB RAM, and a display of 3.7 inches. It has a 5 megapixel camera. The Nexus One has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Google‘s Android OS.

So what will you choose to do?, is it a dilemma for you or is your mind easily made up over the three options? Tell us what choice you will be making and your reasons for your decisions.

I'm eagerly waiting for the nexus one. yes, it's only a 5mp camera compared to incredible's 8mp but it just seems like a cooler phone. My single biggest problem with upgrading to any of the phones you mentioned, though, is paying extra for internet. I can afford the $30/month, but that's about how much I'm paying for highspeed internet at home. just doesn't seem worth it. I think $15/month seems more realistic. And these phones are pretty much worthless without internet, might as well buy a cheap phone. But if I do get one, it'll be the nexus one.

Pfff, anything but the iPhone, are they going to have a faster processor instead of the 600 mhz one they have now? If not, it’s just another example of apple’s “aesthetics over substance” approach to hardware.
