Verizon and Samsung unveil Reality – price update

You may or may not recall a little over a week ago we reported on the news of the Samsung U820 Reality. Which was expected to be released on April 22nd according to some Verizon documents.

Firstly, in case you missed the article it can be seen by clicking here. We reported at that time that we expected a mail in rebate but had no definite information on price that is until now.

The Samsung Reality is a feature phone with a 3 inch touchscreen, which has a horizontal slide out QWERTY keyboard. The Reality will feature Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Samsung device will also have support for social networking services and also VZ Navigator, Verizon’s mobile e-mail, mobile Web email and also corporate email. Now you should be able to get the Samsung Reality U820 in either Red or Black on 22nd April for just $79.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and a two year contract. Also a $9.99 monthly data package will be required by Verizon.
