HTC HD Mini Review: Design, Build, Screen & Overall Verdict

If would like to know a little more about the HTC HD Mini then hopefully this review will help you decide if this is the mobile phone for you.

Electricpig.co.uk has done a very good review talking about the design and build, screen, and overall verdict. They have given this handset, 3 stars out of 5 and here is the reason why.

They say they love the Windows Mobile because it is nicely skinned and they also like the HTC Sense, then they say they hate Windows Mobile 6.5.

This is a low-priced phone, or as Electricpig call it “bargain-basement HD Mini”, this smartphone features Windows Mobile 6.5 and NOT Android like the big boys HTC Desire and HTC Legend.

The HTC HD mini has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, which is great for videos and the colours are superb when watch back clips. But then it all goes wrong when web browsing, apparently when using Opera, Internet Explorer (Already Integrated) pictures seem to be of low-resolution and blocky.

This phone does lack a few features, such as no Leap feature for spying all your home screens all at once and no Friend Stream, the social networking aggregator, is notable for its absence.

When using the keyboard you will apparently make many errors, the pad will not respond when you want it to and the way you want it to. With Windows Mobile 7 coming it seems that Windows Mobile 6.5 is on its last legs and does come with problems.
