Some good news for Nokia E72 owners out there as according to an article over at intomobile.com via allaboutsymbian.com Nokia have released a firmware update version 31.023

The update for the Nokia E72 Smartphone is said to bring the usual bug fixes but also comes with some new application and updates to existing ones.

In a nutshell what you should see from the update is some new pre installed applications including Ovi Sync, Advance Communication Manager, Smart Connect and also Internet Radio. Ovi Maps has been updated which now includes free navigation and location sharing.

Web is now version 7.2 and brings full support for Flash Lite 3.1, Ovi Store version 1.5.436, My Nokia version 1.4 and start up and email wizards. Currently the new firmware is only obtainable via Nokia Software Updater so you would have to connect your Nokia E72 to your PC in order to upgrade now. Unless you wish to wait for the Over The Air update which should be with us pretty soon.
