Garmin Asus Android A10 Smartphone Announced

Garmin-Asus, you remember them don’t you, they where the guys that took something like decades to deliver their nuvifone after a fiasco of delays. Well according to a report over on i4u, they are delivering a new smartphone.

Apparently Garmin has announced their Garmin-Asus A10 smartphone with packs some Android operating system goodness, has been optimised for pedestrian navigation, and is expected to become available in Europe and Asia-Pacific in mid 2010.

According to the article the Garmin-Asus A10 will feature a 3.2 inch HVGA touch screen, electronic compass, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, webkit browser, accelerometer, and is a full features smartphone on the Android platform that integrates with Google services.

No exact word on just what Android OS version the Garmin-Asus A10 will support though or what carriers will offer the device and what price tag it may command.
