Sagem to launch Puma Phone 2 on Android

It has been reported that Sagem are going to launch its second device which is in conjunction with the popular sports brand Puma.

The device will run on Android according to a follow up from the original Puma Phone in online reports which state this time round it will run in the Android operating system.

Apparently little has been decided in relation to the upcoming device however, Jerome Nadel of Sagem Wireless has revealed that it is likely to be a lower model in terms of specifications but that it would slot in below the first..

It will have access to the Sagem developed cloud infrastructure of news and social networking along with shopping a feature that Sagem would actually like to rebrand and offer to different niche customers.

It may be a way off yet as the date has only been revealed as sometime in 2010, so who knows when we’ll get to see it in the flesh. So instead have a look at the Puma Phone which is expected to sell for £329.99 SIM free.
