LG Fathom Windows Phone from Verizon more details

There have been a number of reports that indicate that Verizon Wireless are about to release the LG Fathom phone later on this month. Now we have some more information on the upcoming Smartphone thanks to a recent article posted over at brighthand.com

So far all that had been previously leaked was that the LG Fathom would run Windows Mobile 6.5 and that it was to include a touchscreen together with a keyboard.

Although Verizon has still to officially announce the LG Fathom a new unconfirmed source has come forward with some more details on the phone and even an image to keep us going. This is expected to be one of the last devices to be released with Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro.

The LG Fathom will have a 3.2 inch WVGA resistive touchscreen in front of a sliding keyboard. It is going to support Verizon’s voice and also 3G network and is capable of connecting to both GSM and HSDPA high speed data networks when roaming outside of the United States. The Fathom will also include a 3.2 megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. We will of course keep you updated on price and release details when we get them.

  1. someone who can read says:

The commercial was for the LG Ally (S740) not the LG Fathom (VS750) mentioned above. You might want to check your facts before you start calling people names.
