HTC Droid Incredible Gains OTA Exchange Bug Fix

On Saturday the latest Android smartphone to hit Verizon Wireless, the HTC Droid Incredible received its first over the air update reports an article over on engadget by way of phandroid, and although no one quite knew what the update did it was presumed it would sort out the rebooting issue.

However, according to the article that isn’t the case and the real reason for 1.22.605.2 CL161494 software build it to fix a Microsoft Exchange support bug.

Thus users will only see the update if they have a corporate smartphone which apparently they can now expect their carbon copy email fields to get fixed by the 6th of May.

So there is, the answer to the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible’s first OTA update, just for Exchange only so perhaps we will see another update come soon to sort out that persistent rebooting issue.
