iPhone 4G Launch: Taiwan Suppliers Prepare for June 7

According to an article over on cens, Taiwanese parts suppliers on Apple’s supply chain expect to benefit from the launch of the new iPhone 4G claims institutional investors, but the thing that gets me is the article starts off with the iPhone 4G will be officially unveiled on June 7th, really? Its official now is it? I wonder when Apple told them the exact date.

Apparently market observers have noted that when suppliers become part of the supply chain for the iPhone 4G it is “definitely profitable” to parts and component suppliers as sales are estimated in the region of 6 to 7 million in Q2 of 2010 and may hit 9 million in Q3.

Well yeah it’s kind of obvious that any supplier involved with the iPhone 4G or any iPhone for that matter is going to see a nice profit I would have thought, it doesn’t take market observers to know that.

Anyway, apparently the iPhone 4G is assembled by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd, and the touch screen is supplied by Wintek Corp, Chimei Innolux Corp, and TPK Touch Solutions Inc, while the camera lens is supplied by Largan Precision Co, and Genius Electronic Optical. The iPhone 4G quartz crystal units are supplied by TXC Corp, while IC saturates by Kinsus Interconnected Technology Corp and flecible copper clad laminates are supplied by Taiflex Scientific Co. Ltd.

But you don’t really want to know who makes what all you are really interested in is when the iPhone 4G will be officially unveiled and as according to the article is will be on the 7th of June.
