Nexus One to be sold by Phones 4u on May 7th

According to an article over on mobile today, Phones 4u will offer the Android packing Google Nexus One on the Vodafone network as of the 7th of May which is this Friday and will offer the Nexus One as a free smartphone when signing up for a 2 year agreement at £35 a month.

The £35 per month free Nexus One deal givers the customer 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data and WiFi. Russell Braterman, marketing director for Phones 4u has said “As a leading UK mobile retailer we are continuing to seek the best handsets and mobile packages to offer our customers.”

The Google Nexus One superphone offers the latest Android 2.1 operating system along with a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen and a 5 megapixel camera, which has just gone head to head with the HTC Droid Incredible 8 megapixel camera which you can read about (here)

Braterman also remarked “We are extremely excited about Google’s introduction of such a state of the art device into the market, which will no doubt have a significant impact on the mobile space from here on out. We’re really proud to be one of the first mobile retailers to stock Google’s Nexus One and we anticipate a rush of customers to be the first to get their hands on the phone.”
