Motorola Flipout square form factor with Android next month

Good news for Motorola fans out there as according to a recent post over at electronista.com we have some additional images of the square shaped Motorola.

The Motorola device has been officially named as the Motorola Flipout that is according to HDBlog.it, this same design from Motorola was seen a while ago in an earlier leak with the moniker Twist, which we covered at the time here.

The Twist being the name taken from the Nokia 7705 handset which features a similar form factor. The new Motorola Flipout features a full QWERTY keyboard which is under the 2.8 inch display. It has been suggested that the device will also have a 3.1 megapixel camera.

Other features are expected to include 700MHz CPU and GPS functionality, another rumour is that Android 2.1 is paired with Motorola’s own BLUR user interface. It seems that there are options of three different colours for the Flipout but sadly no launch details or carrier and pricing information has been released yet, when it becomes available we will let you know.
