There have been in the past many studies looking into the subject of the mobile phone and health concerns, some saying they have found a link while others say there is no conclusive link between mobile phones and cancer.

According to an article over on freep, according to a report due to be published in the International Journal of Epidemiology on Tuesday, a major international study into the link between mobile phones and 2 kinds of brain cancer has proved inconclusive.

The study took in roughly 30,000 people over the course of 10 years and has found that “most mobile phones” do not increase the risk of meningioma development which is a frequently common and benign tumour and glioma which is a more rarer and deadly cancer.

It has been suggested by the World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research on Cancer that using a mobile handset for more than 30 minutes every day could increase the risk of developing giloma, however the authors did add that “biases and error prevent a causal interpretation” which could directly blame radiation for the cancer.

It’s all well and good having these long-term studies into whether mobile phone usage can cause a health risk, but so far it must have cost a huge amount of funds to have so many studied done and still no one can come up with a conclusive result that, mobile phone use does or doesn’t bring a risk of cancer.
