Android OS 2.2 Froyo Unveiling Expected Today at Google I/O

Google I/O starts up today and tomorrow in San Francisco, an event that covers all things Google but with an announcement of Google’s latest operating system waiting in the wings all attention will probably be centred on the expected announcement of Android OS 2.2.

According to an article over on Brighthand posted by Ed Hardy, according to earlier reports it is expected Android OS 2.2 will feature supports for that Apple hated platform, Adobe Flash along with other enhancements; mystery video can be viewed (here)

As yet there has been no formal announcement of Android OS 2.2 Froyo from the Google camp but that hasn’t stopped details from hitting the net waves over the last few weeks, and Google’s VP Andy Rubin himself has stated that Android OS 2.2 Froyo will include Adobe Flash Player 10.1.

Other rumoured enhancements to Android OS 2.2 Froyo include sharing wireless internet connections with other devices including tethering over Bluetooth or USB, working as a WiFi Router, and enabling automatic download and install 3rd party apps.

F2.2 will be freaking awesome. It will make the Apple OS look like a freaking abacus. Hopefully, it will be push through the Incredible fairly quickly.
