Apple iPhone 4G expected to ship 24 million

According to an article over at techeye.net the principle beneficiaries of the Apple iPhone 4G will be the Taiwanese manufacturers who will be contributing to the innards of the new iPhone 4G.

Apparently Hon Hai otherwise known as Foxconn will be responsible for putting the phones together and Chimei Innolux will contribute the LCD touchscreen modules for the new device.

It has been stated that when the iphone gets introduced this June, Foxconn will be in a position to deliver some 4.5 million units and are able to increase the ramp in the second half of the year to between 10 to 12 million units each month.

The LCD panels are apparently fringe field switching known as FFS units with LG licensing the technology from Taiwanese company Prime View International. It is claimed that the iPhone 4G will have a front camera and also multiplex features and is also claimed to be a CDMA unit.
