HTC Droid Incredible, Wildfire, EVO 4G: What Next?

It’s quite apparent that HTC is becoming huge in the smartphone manufacturing arena, and since the uptake of Google’s Android platform HTC has virtually taking the smartphone space by storm with smartphone after smartphone hitting the streets on numerous mobile carriers.

Although Google’s first home grown Android smartphone the Nexus One went out as a Google phone it was an HTC manufactured handset., and the list of HTC made mobile phones is quite a lengthy one including the likes of the HTC Dream, HTC Touch Pro, HTC Snap, HTC Tattoo, and HTC Touch Diamond. HTC Desire, and Legend and many more.

More recently HTC has come to the forefront of the smartphone segment with delivering the HTC made Droid Incredible to the Verizon network, a smartphone that is said to be fierce competition to the much awaited iPhone 4G, although there have been a few gripes about the Droid Incredible from our readers which can be viewed (here)

The HTC Droid Incredible offers the user a 3.7 inch WVGA OLED touch screen, 8 megapixel camera, with auto-focus, and video capture, Android OS 2.1 will Google Experience, next generation Sense UI, IGHz Snapdragon processor, 8GB memory and much more.

HTC has seen record figures for the month of April, so they must be doing something right, and the company is the first to deliver on a 4G enabled smartphone with the upcoming HTC EVO 4G which will run of Sprint’s WiMAX 4G network, and has now even gained the backing of Google as reported (here)

Much like HTC Droid Incredible, the Sprint HTC EVO 4G will see release on the on June 4, and brings to the user Android OS 2.1, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Sense UI, and again an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus but also a front facing camera as well, but the big difference is the HTC EVO 4G can do both 3G and 4G.

The latest mobile device to come out of the HTC camp is the new HTC Wildfire, a smartphone which is expected to release in Q3 of this year, and although not as high spec as the Droid Incredible and EVO 4G does offer Android OS 2.1, HTC Sense UI, 3.2 QVGA capacitive touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm jack.

Those are the most notable of recent smartphone coming from HTC, but the question is now is where will HTC go? What can HTC bring new to the smartphone arena in the future? No doubt HTC will continue to push out exciting handsets delivering the latest mobile technology, as we simply can’t wait to see what they have in store. So what do you think HTC will deliver next, drop us a comment with your predictions below.

From the reviews so far, I seem to fall in love with the HTCs wonder if the HTC EVO 4G would be available in the UK? Would we be having a low down comparison with the anticipated iphone 4G. Secondly, how good is the current HTC HD2 smartphone I guess with the forthcoming OS/software would it be a contender with the current iphone or the new iphone 4G? Love to have a feed back

    Many thanx, Francis
