Motorola i1 PTT now at SouthernLINC Wireless just $199

The Motorola i1 which is the first Push To Talk mobile phone in the world to run under the Google Android operating system has now been put on sale at SouthernLINC Wireless.

A recent article from Ionut Arghire at softpedia.com confirms that the device is now on sale and the handset comes with support for the carriers iDEN (integrated digital enhanced network). The Motorola i1 can be purchased through all SouthernLINC Wireless sales and also service locations and on the carrier’s website.

The device is said to be a sleek tablet style which has the convenience of Push To Talk two way radio with a premium browsing and messaging experience. The i1 comes already loaded with the Opera Mini 5 browser of that optimized mobile web browsing.

The Motorola i1 includes a 5 megapixel camera along with flash and also video recording capabilities and also geotagging. There is a 3.1 inch touchscreen display which is protected by a durable rubber housing and a sturdy glass. A microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage and a 2GB card is included in the package.
