Windows Phone 7 spotted on LG Panther

Microsoft had announced back in February the upcoming release of a new mobile operating system which we have all heard a lot of recently namely Windows Phone 7 previously known as Windows Phone 7 Series.

We were informed at the time that we could expect to see it arrive on the market during the fourth quarter on devices from leading handset vendors, and now thanks to Ionut Arghire at softpedia.com via pocket-lint we have the chance to see a series of photo’s from LG which have emerged recently.

The images display a prototype LG Panther handset which again was originally spotted back in February which is apparently being used by a senior company executive. Both the handset and the Windows Phone 7 operating system reported to work smoothly according to an article over on pocket-lint which reported the Microsoft demonstration of the device.

The Windows Phone 7 platform should come to the shelves with a Zune media player inside again said to be working well too. Users will be able to download media content from the Zune store. The LG Panther is expected to offer an intuitive touchscreen and an enhanced social networking experience and a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
