As many of us have been wondering if and more importantly when our Android phones will be getting the Froyo Android 2.2 upgrade, then we have a little bit of good news for you.

If you have a HTC device which was launched in 2010 then you have a very good chance of actually getting the Froyo 2.2 upgrade for your phone. So far for sure we know that this will include the HTC Desire, Droid Incredible, EVO 4G and MyTouch Slide and any future models.

Sadly we don’t have any expected date of arrival yet but the second half of this year seems to be the probable time to be expecting the upgrade. The official word states that if your phone was launched this year, your then most likely to be offered an upgrade for it to the Froyo version. This includes the Desire and Droid Incredible as well as hotly anticipated phones such as the EVO 4G.
