iPhone 4G Worldwide Boycott Push by Hong Kong Activists
Foxconn and the situation over suicides is something that needs to be sorted, as another youth plunged to his death as reported earlier (here), and it looks like these deaths are about to cause a huge pain for Apple and the iPhone 4G.
According to an article over on SMH, labour activists in Hong Kong are planning to begin a global boycott of the next generation iPhone which is currently being called the iPhone 4G as a result of the Foxconn suicides due to Foxconn manufacturing the Apple device.
On Tuesday outside thee Hong Kong office of Taiwan based Foxconn, two dozen demonstrators protested and called for Foxconn to improve working conditions at their plant in Shenzhen, and said the company should probe into the reasons for the suicides.
Students and Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour, spokesperson Debby Chan spoke to AFP saying “The reason we’re staging the protest is the high death rate due to some workers committing suicide within five months, which we think is abnormal. Foxconn should evaluate its management style…. We strongly urge Foxconn to start a committee to look into the reasons they died.”
Chan further stated that the planned boycott would more than likely kick off before the release of the new iPhone 4G which is expected next month at WWDC 2010 and will also target another Apple supplier United Win technology.

never buy apple product, they are designed to rip people $$$, you are tight with itune to do everything, and you can only work on one computer, after the warrenty and applecare expired, it will be as expensive as new to get it fix.
and you must not drop the iphone, because the glass will break very easy and apple don't cover it as warrenty, you are forced to pay $5000 to fix the glass

the problem is that it's not the features, if you compare ipad to any cheap netbook, netbook has more features, although a bit slower, you can run the latest photoshop, latest illlustrator, and you can run any programs from the newest to the oldest even basic programs, you can run back all your favouite programs without paying extra for the ipad version, with a netbook you can print with your old laser printer, inkjet printer, you can use all kind of USB keyboard and mouse.
netbook has more advantures like:
1) you can run any programs like photoshop
2) you can change battery by yourslef
3) you can increase your HD to 500G, instead of the ipad 8G
4) you only pay half for the netbook when compare to ipad
5) any netbook is faster than ipad
6) you can put netbook on your lap, instead of holding ipad in the air (do that for 1 hour and you feel ehat i mean)
7) netbook has video out like VGA port for presentation
8) netbook has real keyboard for better typing
9) you never hold the up side down or left side right
10) you can browse all kind of Flash website or play days of free Flash games
11) you are not locked to use itune to copy music or photos
12) most netbook has a SD slots for downloading photos and videos, without forcing you to buy an adapter that hang out all the time
13) it is more easy to carry, you just close the netbook and you are ready to go, with an ipad you need to buy those fancy expensive case to protect the screen
14) when the netbook has problem, it is cheaper and easy to find shops to repair it, with an ipad, after warrenty and applecare expired it will be expensive to repair, same price as a new ipad.
15) some netbook has built-in full size SIM slots, with ipad micro SIM, you wither need to cut it smaller or when for the publich to support it
16) you can run full version of word and excel instead of the cut down version of iworks
17) netbook are low profile you can use it anywhere on the street and no one cares, with an ipad you are making attention, and make people want to steal it.
18) some netbook has builtin dvd burner, so that you can burn data dvd, or video dvd

steve jobs may want you to believe netbook is rubbish can't do anything, but ipad is not any better.

iv had more people trying to steal my netbook, than my ipod touch, which actually cost more than my netbook (second hand)
you may want to change the hard drive, but many users know exactly the reason why they are buying one, they know that the minimum is actually 16gb, but thats for the people who actually enjoy the interface, and are comfortable
apple offer DRM free music
and you arent locked to use just itunes
