All Nokia N900 smartphone owners will be happy to hear that there is a new software update 1.2 and its release date is set for tomorrow May 26 worldwide and in the UK today, this new 1.2 (version V10.2010.19-1).

This new update will offer many enhancements to the Maemo5 mobile computer, this update is pretty big with new games on offer in Ovi Store such as Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster, GoGadget, Sygic, Weatherbug, Zen-bound, Angry Birds (level pack) and Kroll. The Ovi Store will be doing a full switchover this week on Thursday May 27; this is the date when you will see the above games.

On the communication side of things the email has been vastly improved, this update will allow you to accept or even decline an event invitation right there in your inbox, the Facebook IM chat has also been bundled in. You will get video calling for cool face-to-face chats.

The Nokia N900 1.2 software update will give you portrait browsing on the internet, Ovi Maps has had a little of the update treatment as well with changes to the UI.
