iPhone and iPad gain Flash Content Via Smokescreen: Video

Everyone and their aunt knows Flash isn’t enabled on the iPhone and iPad, but apparently there are ways around the situation, which is probably much to the annoyance of Apple chief Steve Jobs who has made his position on Flash quite clear in the past.

However, there are those who wouldn’t mind Flash on their iPhone and iPad or at least the ability to reveal Flash content which according to an article over on Engadget by Thomas Ricker says the Smokescreen Flash plugin does, although at the moment it’s just a preview release.

Unfortunately though the guys found that while Smokescreen worked well with animated banner ads, Flash content such as games and video ran extremely slow when tested on the iPhone 3GS, but it’s a start and no doubt will get better as it goes along.

We have a video demonstration of Smokescreen for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad for your viewing pleasure which can be viewed below and lasts just one minutes, so mash play and check it out…enjoy.
