Samsung Wave and Galaxy S Heading for India in June

It looks like India will be grabbing a taste of Super AMOLED in Junes as the Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy S smartphone are apparently launching in India sometime in June.

According to an article by Florin of Unwired View, an article by Rajat Agrawal over on Cellpassion confirms that both super AMOLED sporting smartphone are heading towards launch in India, and could be available as early as the 10th of June.

Spec wise the Samsung Wave sports a 3.3 inch WCGA touch screen while the Samsuing Galaxy S offers a 4 inch WVGA touch screen and both handsets offer a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and HD video recording, Bluetooth 3.0, 1GHz processor, HSDPA and WiFi.

The main difference between the two Samsung smartphone is in the operating system with the Samsung Wave packing Bada OS while the Samsung Galaxy S packs Android 2.1. Although official pricing has yet to be announced, the Samsung Wave is expected to cost INR 25,000 while the Samsung Galaxy S should be about INR 30,000.
