HTC EVO 4G Launched in Kansas City Ahead of National Launch

If you are a resident of Kansas City you will be one of the first to benefit from the latest technological advancements in the mobile phone arena with the launch of the HTC EVO 4G smartphone, the only handset capable of running on a 4G network.

The reason being is according to an article by Nikki Albano over on Unbeatable, Sprint has launched the HTC EVO 4G device in Kansas City ahead of the national launch on Friday.

Apparently Sprint has decided to show a little home turf favouritism with the HTC EVO 4G and are giving Kansas City residents and the surrounding areas some 4G love before going national.

So with the HTC EVO 4G now out and about surfing that WiMAX 4G network and the full launch coming on Friday it won’t be too long before we start seeing just how good the first 4G smartphone is, and if it experiences any problems.

inaccurate. No EVO's are for sale in KC. I live here and called around to a dozem locations including Best Buys, Radio Shacks, and the corporate Sprint store with no one selling today.
