iPhone 4G More Features Same Pricing Says Analyst

Most if not all are expecting iPhone Guru Steve Jobs to unveil the next generation iPhone, the so called iPhone 4G during his keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 7th. However apparently new info has come about that the new iPhone will be a significant upgrade to the current device but still command the same price tag.

According to an article by Ed Hardy over on Brighthand, currently a 16GB iPhone 3GS on AT&T costs $200 while a 32GB iPhone 3GS costs $300, but Piper Jaffray analyst, Gene Munster predicts that the next generation iPhone will offer 32GB for $200 and 64GB for $300.

Munster has also told investors that he believes AT&T will lower the price of the 16GB iPhone 3GS to $100 shortly after the release of the next generation handset.

Popular rumour has it that Apple chief Steve Jobs will announce the iPhone 4G at the WWDC keynote and that the device will release the same day, however, Munster is of a different opinion and predicts the iPhone 4G will be available via AT&T as of mid to late June.
