Nokia Intros C1-00, C1-01, C1-02, C2 Low Cost Phones

Nokia has now announced 4 affordable mobile phones which a starting price of just €30 which are destined for Asia and Africa and should become available sometime later this year, and are an addition to the Nokia C-Series of devices.

According to an article over on Techtree, two of the four Nokia devices sport dual SIM, the Nokia C1-00 and the Nokia C2 handsets, while the Nokia C1-01 and Nokia C1-02 are single SIM devices, with the Nokia C2 expected to be released in Q4 2010.

The lowest priced device is the Nokia C1-00 commanding a price tag of €30 and will be the first Nokia device to sport a two-in-one double SIM solution meaning the handset will pack 2 SIM cards but only one will be active at a time.

The Nokia C1-00 features a colour display, FM radio, standard jack and flashlight and is said to deliver a standby time of up to 6 weeks making it the longest ever for a Nokia device.

The Nokia C1-01 and Nokia C1-02 offer microSD expansion up to 32GB, colour display, GPRS, while the C1-01 features a video camera. The C1-01 will cost €39 while the C1-02 will cost €35.

Lastly the Nokia C2 handset features “hot swappable” dual SIMs, FM radio, music player, microSD expansion up to 32GB, Ovi Mail, Ovi Life Tools, and commands a price tag of €45.
