Nokia 5228 Released in Germany

The Nokia 5228 smartphone has now been released in Germany and is being touted as a cheaper version of the Nokia 5230 handset although to keep those costs down the Nokia 5228 loses GSP and 3G connectivity.

According to an article over on NokNok by Phil B and way of All About Symbian, the Nokia 5228 holds the potential to be the “bargain smartphone” of the year.

The Nokia 5228 does offer a 3.2 inch touch screen, 2 megapixel camera, quad-band GSM, Symbian S60 5th Edition, 70MB internal memory, 3.5mm jack, Ovi Services such as Ovi Share, Ovi Store, Ovi Contacts and Nokia Music Store, and microSD expansion.

The Nokia 5228 measures 111 x 51.7 x 14.5mm with a weight of 113 grams, is available in White, Red, Black, Blue, Pink, Silver, Yellow, and Dark Silver, and commands a price tag of €139.
