Sony Ericsson Windows Phone 7 handset Julie spotted

Sony Ericsson are apparently getting ready for the Windows Phone 7 party as well following the much reported announcement at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Thanks to a recent report by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com for the update on this for us. We were aware that companies including LG and Samsung already had Windows Phone 7 prototypes in the works and now it is looking like Sony Ericsson may be about to join in the fun.

The Windows Phone 7 device is currently known as Sony Ericsson Julie and is expected to come boasting a sliding QWERTY keyboard when it is launched on the market, that is according to another article over on the Sony Ericsson forum.

Also as well as the physical keyboard the phone is presumed to include a 4 inch touchscreen display and a processor which has been clocked at 1GHz. If the rumours are to come true then the Windows Phone 7 device from Sony Ericsson should land with may features including multi touch capabilities and similar dimensions to the Android based Xperia X10 which we have covered here previously.
