Samsung have now officially announced the upcoming launch of three new handsets on their way to the market in July all powered by Google’s Android operating system.

They are named as the Galaxy 3 Galaxy 5 and the Galaxy Beam, we can expect according to the company that all three will make their way to the market in Europe, Asia and Singapore.

The confirmation comes from a recent article by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com which confirms that the three new devices from Samsung will run under Google’s Android 2.1 platform on top of which you will of course get TouchWiz 3.0 user interface.

All come with Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, dual band UMTS/HSDPA along with Bluetooth and also Wi-Fi connectivity. The Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 however are expected to come with lower specifications but the Beam should be a better positioned device as it includes a built in pico projector.

The Galaxy 5 has a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen with a 2 megapixel camera, whereas the Galaxy 3 has a 3.2 touchscreen with a 3 megapixel camera and the touchscreen on the Beam is a 3.7 AMOLED display and has an 8 megapixel camera.
