iPhone 4 pre orders suspended by AT&T did you get yours?

AT&T have apparently now suspended all pre orders for the very much wanted Apple iPhone 4 device while it tries to fulfil the orders already received.

According to a recent report by Sinead Carew over at abcnews the exclusive United States provider for the iPhone AT&T have stated that orders for the iPhone 4 yesterday the first day of online pre orders were in fact 10 times greater than they were for the iPhone 3G S last year.

We reported earlier here in relation to security breaches and concerns raised by customers attempting to make there purchase online although AT&T have not commented on its technology problems or the complaints about consumer privacy breaches.

They did however say that the additional inventory will determine if it can resume order taking. The heavy demand is apparently the cause of the technology problems which were experienced by customers yesterday who were trying to pre order there iPhone 4 device through the AT&T and Apple website. So did you manage it yesterday or not or did you experience any of the said reported security breaches in relation to other customers account information. Share your comments and thoughts with us.

  1. Narg says:

They should have sold upgrades by invitation only. E-Mail the customer when they are allowed to order. This would have dropped the traffic down considerably, kept the problems from occuring, and made things so much smoother.
