iOS 4 upgrade from MobileIron to improve speed of iPhone adoption

Device management company MobileIron have announced an updated version of its enterprise management applications which are said to possibly be able to speed corporate adoption of the iPhone.

Thanks to a recent article by Khidr Suleman over at v3.co.uk we can share further information on the subject of the iOS 4 upgrade with you. The application from MobileIron was originally launched last September and the latest version which we understand is due in the third quarter will be coming with three core features.

Those three features are designed to increase enterprise appeal the company have stated. Zero touch security will be responsible for allowing IT departments to push security updates to an iPhone without the user needing to authorise any action.

Application discovery has also been added which will allow businesses to create and publish in house applications without the need to use iTunes. And the third core feature is the applications real time cost control which is going to allow both IT departments and users to streamline costs proactively.
