Sprint and Sierra Wireless announce 3G/4G USB 250U modem

It has been announced today by wireless carrier Sprint and Sierra Wireless the availability of the Sprint 3G/4G USB 250U mobile broadband modem from Sierra Wireless.

The device is apparently capable of offering Sprint customers the possibility of enjoying speeds of up to 10 times faster than 3G according to a recent article by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com

The device is said to connect to Sprint’s 4G service in any of the 33 Sprint 4G markets and also able to offer 3G connectivity in other markets. The 3G/4G USB 250U is a compact size and a round design and has a rotating 180 degree hinge which makes it compatible with both vertical and horizontal USB ports.

Users are able to benefit from virtually any laptop regardless of whether they wish to surf the internet, download huge files or stream videos. The USB 250U comes with support for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac OS.
