iPhone 4 Recall Twitter was Fake

The other day I posted that there may be a possibility that Apple will recall the iPhone 4, you can read that post (here) the post was based on a story published by the Daily Mail, but apparently they got it wrong and the Twitter message supposedly from Steve Jobs was fake.

According to an article over on Mashable by Samuel Axon, an article over on The Next Web announced that the supposed tweet from the iPhone boss was indeed a fake quoted from the “notorious fake Steve Jobs Twitter account.”

Apple has made no announcement to recall the iPhone 4 and the Twitter account @ceoSteveJobs, is a parody account and they even say so in their profile.

The result is the Daily Mail has pulled the original story, so there it is, all fake and Apple has no intention of recalling the iPhone 4. Now lets how that the rumoured iOS 4 update which is supposed to sort the reception problems with the iPhone 4 isn’t fake as well.
