Sagem Puma Phone Starts Shipping

It’s been some time since we heard about the Sagem Puma Phone, but apparently Puma has now announced the Puma Phone has begin shipping in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, five months after its official announcement back WWDC 2010 in Barcelona.

According to an article over on Softpedia by Cosmin Vasile, although Puma has announced the device will be available on 3 continents, not many countries have started shipping the device, in Europe there is the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Greece, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland and Slovenia.

In the Middle East is the United Arab Emirates, while in Africa its Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Tunisia, Senegal and Uganda.

Spec wise the Puma Phone sports a 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, GPS with A-GPS,, secondary video call camera, access to social networking , and PUMA WORLD and a solar panel on its rear.
