HTC Droid Incredible Now Delayed Until August

Verizon and HTC are having huge problems with keeping up with the high demand HTC Droid Incredible and the device has been in the shortage zone since release with the reason being supplies of the Super AMOLED display being in short supply from Samsung.

According to an article over on Pocket Now by way of Electronista, Verizon has now pushed back the availability of the HTC Droid Incredible until the 4th of August, 3 weeks after the release of the Motorola Droid X.

However as we have already reported, Verizon is giving those who pre-ordered the HTC Droid Incredible the opportunity to swap their pre-order to the Motorola Droid X if they do not wish to wait, you can read that article (here)

So given that the Droid Incredible is once again pushed back another month and there is the chance of swapping to the Droid X, will you swap your pre-order and opt for the Motorola Droid X or will you continue to wait for the Droid Incredible?

I'll wait for HTC Droid Incredible because I held a dummy version of the Droid X and it's like going back to 1995….way to huge of a phone. Motorola should have put a variety out like this HTC Incredible rather than the big X phone and soon Droid 2 to yet still contain a real keyboard. No wonder why this HTC Incredible is on back order.

The Droid Incredible didn't have a Super AMOLED screen, just a regular AMOLED screen. And now a Super TFT screen from Sony.
