If you have been holding off purchasing the first 4G enabled smartphone to run on the Spring WiMAX network because you really want a white version of the HTC EVO 4G, your wait is now over if you nip over to your Best Buy store.

According to a Darren Murph article over on Engadget, the HTC EVO 4G in its sporty white coat is now landing at Best Buy stores some five days before it the device is due. Apparently the white HTC EVO 4G wasn’t expected to be in store before the 11th of July for those that pre-ordered the device.

However apparently they have received 2 independent confirmations that the white version of the 4G smartphone has landed early at select Best Buy locations, so anyone who ordered a white HTC EVO 4G may get notification that it is ready for pick up soon.
