Word is Verizon is shipping the Motorola Droid X smartphone out to some customers early with said customers brow beating customer service or locating a rep that doesn’t realise they should be selling the device at the moment.

However according to an article over on Engadget by Chris Ziegler, the guys over at Droid-life are reporting several of their readers are indeed stating they have already received their Motorola Droid X.

The Motorola Droid X on Verizon Wireless was due on the 15th of July but it appears that numerous customers have been lucky enough to gain the latest device from Motorola a few days early for their $199 after a $100 mail in rebate and 2 year agreement.
