O2 iPhone 4 Response to Apple Press Conference

O2 UK made live yesterday its response to the Apple Press Conference about the iPhone 4 and here is their latest news.

Yesterday Friday July 16 Apple held a press conference to chat about the iPhone 4 and O2 is currently reviewing their announcement, they are looking into it to see what this means for O2 customers.

If you visit this O2 webpage on July 19 at 5:00 pm, which is when O2 will make its next update you will get a response as to what O2 will offer its customers.

O2 is urging that you do not call customer service or visit any O2 shop with questions about the Apple announcement that was held yesterday as they cannot give you any information at this given time, they do not know anything so basically wait for the above webpage to update.

However, you can visit http://www.apple.com/uk/ and contact them directly if you wish to ask about the Apple iPhone 4.

Called O2 today, advised me to wait till 19th July on their site, refusing to even to refund me even though I've done an early upgrade. Paid them for the handset and even the early contract charges, Saying only Apple store offering only refunds and no one else. What sort of consumer rights do we have if their doing this?
