Android Video Chat App Demo

Video chat with smartphones seems to be all the rage at the moment since Apple came up with FaceTime for the iPhone 4, but there are other platforms that can do video chat including the Android platform, as you will see by viewing the video demo we have for you today.

The Android video chat app demo video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Daily Mobile by way of Coenraets. Apparently the video chat app was built with flex 4 and deployed on AIR for Android, and is apparently just 30 lines of code.

Currently the chat app is a bare-bones proof of concept and enables multiple users to enter a chat room and video chat with each other. The application is apparently operational though and can run on various runtime environments.

Anyway rather than go into all the technical jargon it’s much easier for you to mash that play button and get the gist straight from the guy doing the demonstration, so off you go and enjoy.
