iPhone 4 Photography & HD Recording, Consumer Reviews

We are calling out to all Apple iPhone 4 consumers to come forward and send in your personal reviews about the photography and HD recording capabilities.

The iPhone 4 smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash plus 5x digital zoom and of course HD recording, we all know by now that this device can shoot video with the camera on the back as well as the front-facing camera, which is fantastic.

If you use the front-facing camera the resolution is much lower than the 5-megapixel camera on the back, the difference is 640 by 480 pixels compared to 1280 by 720, which basically means if you use the front-facing camera you will not get HD quality.

The iPhone 4 will give you 720p HD video at around 10 megabits (Mbps) per second, in a nutshell that is around 80MB per minute converted to about 4.8GB per hour.

The camera features tap to focus and this allows clearer and sharper images, the macro lens is fantastic for close-up photography, it will focus and adjust the white balance and exposure automatically.

Anyway we do not want to go on and on about the features because we know you are aware of them by now, we would love for you to send in your personal reviews and opinions and of course any problems you have encountered along the way. You may want to check out the DSLR sample video

  1. I needed a way to attach my iPhone to a tripod for time lapse photography and to be able to get in the pictures and videos with my grandkids so I designed a simple tripod mount. It not only works with all iPhones but works with all other phones. See it at dTROD.com
