While the Dell Steak captures all the mobile limelight there is another Dell smartphone which has been awaiting release over in the US, the Dell Aero which was last heard of quite a while ago and by now will probably take its place in the mid range smartphone sector.

According to an article over on Mobile Crunch by Greg Kumparak, Dell has now revealed just when the Big Blue will be offering the Dell Aero, and apparently that is the 9th of August.

Spec wise the Dell Aero offers a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, Android 1.5 OS but upgradeable, A-GPS, Google services, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.

Now the all important price tag for the Dell Aero on AT&T, if you don’t mind signing up with the Big Blue for a two year period you can gain the Dell Aero for $99, or if you prefer to go without commitment the price is $299.
