According to the 02 German Twitter account it is claimed that the US Motorola Droid Android 2.2 update will come to Europe.

The article which has been published by the guys over at eurodroid.com has added that FroYo is expected to arrive mid to late September for the renamed Motorola Milestone.

The announcement although itself is in German however you should be able to get the general idea perhaps if not check out the internet translation services if you really want to know word for word what it says.

Just to recap it looks like the middle or end of August for the HTC Desire to get Froyo also on 02, and now confirmation that again middle to late September for the Motorola Milestone.
