BlackBerry Torch 9800 can it compete with iPhone 4, Droid X or EVO 4G

The latest BlackBerry device the BlackBerry Torch 9800 is said to assist Research In Motion in getting back to compete in the Smartphone market in which it had ruled for numerous years.

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 which we have reported on previously here was shown off by the company during the New York event this week and it would seem now the competition is hotting up.

A recent report by moretechnews explains that the new BlackBerry device which will come with the latest BlackBerry Operating System 6 installed as the default operating system is ready to arrive at AT&T stores over the coming weeks.

The new BlackBerry Torch has many features which we can find in the newest devices which include the Motorola Droid X the iPhone 4 and also the HTC EVO 4G. Having said that the main target of the device would seem to be in order to give a hard time to both Verizon and Motorola as the as the wireless carrier and handset maker are also preparing to launch the Motorola Droid 2 which we have covered previously here in August.
