BlackBerry Torch and iPhone to gain AT&T U-verse TV Service

The word is that the Big Blue is intending on expanding their U-verse TV service to the new Research In Motion BlackBerry Torch and the Apple iPhone as AT&T will begin offering the new Blackberry Torch as of the 12th of this month.

According to an article over on Business Week by Greg Bensinger, AT&T’s U-verse service will deliver remote access to recorded programs and enable their 2.5 million users to download certain TV content to their BlackBerry Torch of iPhone over WiFi.

However, according to spokesperson Fletcher Cook, U-verse users will not be able to link their service to their Apple iPad as AT&T has yet to agree content deals for that Apple device. Fletcher also stated that a U-verse app is now available in the App Store.
