Samsung Epic, Ahead of the Game

The Samsung Epic 4G is the second smartphone to hit that will be able to use Sprint’s 4G network alongside the HTC EVO 4G. The Samsung Epic 4G is a Samsung Galaxy S class smartphone but is ahead of the game when compared to other Galaxy S devices, and most other smartphones.

Why, because it is enabled for the next generation network. 4G enabled devices are the way forward and any manufacturer that doesn’t push out a 4G device will eventually be left standing in the smartphone supremacy space.

Such smartphones like the iPhone 4, although a good smartphone in its own right doesn’t have the ability to play nice on a 4G network, something many presume Apple will put right when they release the iPhone 5 or rumour has it when the Verizon iPhone appears.

But 4G is happening right now, not in a year or a couple of years but right this minute, and thus far only two 4G devices exist. This single fact puts the Samsung Epic 4G and HTC EVO 4G ahead of the game. Yes Sprint’s 4G coverage isn’t fully rolled out yet but Sprint is also ahead of the game when compared to other carriers.

Verizon continues to roll out their 4G LTE network, and rumour has it that the BlackBerry Storm 3 will be a Verizon 4G handset. AT&T is slowly pushing out their 4G network but in all fairness is way behind in the game. So it looks like for now anyway that the Samsung Epic 4G and sister handset HTC EVO 4G along with Sprint are the kings of the 4G game.

The phones not out yet (who knows when it will be released). There will not be enough qty so it will go straight on backorder, the evo has not been in stock since its release date.
This is putting the cart before the horse.
I will believe it when I see it in stores in my hand.

My wife have an Epic. The problem with Evo was the chip manufacturer. It was not only EVO but other carriers phone also that used the same chip manufacturer

It will probably come out late this month or the first week of September. Just be patient and stop trippin. I went to one Sprint PCS Store and they are starting to have posters advertising the phone to their customers. The Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G will be an awesome smartphone. Surely Sprints top of the line Android Smartphone.
